This is a detailed changelog of Material Design for Gravity Forms. It includes details for all the versions released after v3.5

January 13, 2020 v3.6.1

  • Credit card field was not showing properly if material design was enabled. The styling of credit card field was fixed with support for ‘filled’ styling.
  • If background color was applied from ‘Styles & Layouts’ plugin then it was breaking the styling of material design addon. This update adds support for background color.
  • In a rare case the update file could generate an error if Styles & Layouts plugin wasn’t installed. This release contains a fix for this issue.

January 13, 2020 v3.6.2

  • v3.6.1 added support for update messages even if the user hasn’t added the license key. However, these updates were getting tested on each page load. This was fixed.

January 13, 2020 v3.6.1

  • Fixed font for labels of complex, checkboxes and radio fields. Earlier these fields were having small font size.
  • Fixed an issue where if ‘Radio & Checkbox Styer’ was enabled on the form and the deactivated then the material design wasn’t getting implemented.
  • Added support for license messages, update notification and purchase/renewal links in plugin.

  • Updated material design library.
  • Added support for outlined material styles. The plugin now supports both inline and outline styles and you can switch between them with a click.
  • Added support for the consent field. It will now take styles similar to checkboxes.
  • Added support for product fields. Now supports both name and quantity fields.
  • Material design addon is now compatible with Field icons for Gravity Forms.
  • Added support for Checkbox & Radio Styler. If it is enabled then material design won’t modify checkbox and radio fields instead the form will take the design from checkbox & radio styler.

Much better than forms that come with the themes

Solid plugin, much better than the forms that come with the themes. We’ve used GF to create membership and donation forms, which our clients love. I thought GF was a little pricey but it’s paid for itself in customer satisfaction.
