A lot of spammers use disposable email services like Yopmail, Snakemail, mail.ru, etc. These can be easily blocked from form submission using the email filter settings of Anti Spam Pro for the Gravity Forms plugin.
- From your WordPress website, navigate to Forms -> Booster.
- Select the form for which you want to block email IDs.
- Now navigate to the Anti Spam panel and then click on the Restrictions section.
- Enable Email Filter, and you will get the following settings.
- Allowlist/Denylist: With this setting, you can choose whether you want to block or allow certain email IDs. If you choose all Allowlist, then only the added email IDs or domains will be allowed to submit forms. With Denylist, you can block the added email IDs. You can add complete email IDs like ‘spam@yopmail.com’ to block only specific IDs. You can also choose to block the service provider as well by using * wildcard ( *@yopmail.com).
- Action to Perform: With action to perform, you can choose to either mark the form submission as spam or prevent submission by giving a validation message.
- Validation Message: Validation message will be shown when the Restrict submission action is submitted. You can provide a customized message here.
