Advanced duplicate is a feature of Bulk Actions for WPForms. It lets you not just duplicate, but also specify the count for duplication. It is very useful in case you want to create multiple copies of fields and also have full control over what settings are copied during duplication.
Steps to use Advanced Duplicate in WPForms
- Navigate to Forms -> Ultimate Kit from your WordPress dashboard.
- Select the form in which you want to use the Advanced Duplicate feature.
- Now go to the Bulk Actions panel.
- Select the fields in the form and click on the Advanced Duplicate button. You will now get the following options.
- Duplicate Count: Add the number of times you want to duplicate the selected fields.
- Duplicate Settings: From here, you can choose which settings you want to duplicate ( like label, description, CSS classes, placeholder, required status, hide label status, etc.)
- Duplicate Placement: The duplicated fields can be placed at the top of the form, at the bottom of the form, or next to the selected fields.
- Duplicate & Edit: Use this button to immediately duplicate the selected fields and start editing them.
- Duplicate: This will just duplicate the fields and won’t open the edit options immediately.
- Close: This will close the advanced duplicate modal.
- Once you have made the desired changes to the form, click on the Save button to make your changes live.
With advanced duplicate, you get the ultimate flexibility in making a clone of existing form fields.
