The password field in WPForms automatically converts the entered characters into asterisks for security reasons. But what if you want users to see their input using a toggle icon in the field? It is possible by using the PowerUps for WPForms addon.
Follow the steps to add a password visibility Toggle in WPForms
- From your WordPress backend, go to Forms -> Ultimate Kit.
- Select the form in which you want to add the password visibility toggle icon.
- Navigate to the Power Ups panel and then look for the Add Password Visibility Toggle for WPForms.
- Click on the Settings button, and you will get the following settings for this power-up.
- Enable: Use this to enable or disable this powerup on your form.
- Select Password Fields for Toggle: From this multi-select field, select the password fields for which you want to enable the visible toggle icon. You can select multiple fields if you have multiple password fields.
- Once enabled for a field, it also gets automatically applied to the confirm password field.
- Click on the Save button to make your changes live.
Now check your form on the frontend, and you will see the toggle icon in the password field. The password will be visible as long as the icon is pressed and will revert to asterisks automatically.
