PowerUps for WPForms has a feature that allows you to restrict copy, paste on a WPForms field. This power-up gives you granular control, like whether you want to enable both copy and paste or just any one of them.
Follow the steps below to set copy-paste restrictions for WPForm fields
- In your website’s backend, navigate to Forms -> Ultimate Kit.
- Select the form on which you want to enable copy-paste restriction.
- Now go to the Power Ups panel and look for the Copy-Paste Restriction for Form Fields section.
- Click on the Settings button, and you will get the following settings
- Enable: Check this setting to enable copy/paste restriction.
- Select Event Type to Prevent: Using this setting, you can either enable both copy-paste or just one of them.
- Select Fields to Restrict: By using this setting, you can select form fields for which you want to prevent copy-paste. You can select multiple fields.
- Enable on Full Form: If this setting is checked, then the copy-paste restriction will be enabled on all the fields of the form.
- Click on the Save button to make your changes live.
Now open the form on the frontend and test your copy-paste restriction for the form fields for which you applied.
