Sometimes you may not want a specific character in the form field. Like you have a username field, and you don’t want users to use the @ symbol in the field. With PowerUps for WPForms, you can easily disable any character for a WPForms field. You can include multiple characters in your exclusion list.
Follow the steps below to restrict a specific character for fields.
- Navigate to Forms -> Ultimate Kit.
- Select the form in which you want to restrict specific characters for a field.
- Now go to the Power Ups section and look for Restrict Specific Characters in WPForms Fields.
- Click on the Settings button, and you will get the following settings.
- Enable: Enable or disable the restriction of specific characters’ power-up.
- Select Fields: Select fields for which you want the restricted characters.
- Enter Characters to Restrict: Enter the characters you want to restrict. You can restrict multiple characters.
- Once done then click on the Save button to make your changes live.
