Once you are in the tooltips panel of the Gravity Booster, you will get the following options for customizing the appearance of tooltips for that particular form.
- Enable Tooltips: This setting allows you to enable or disable tooltips on the selected form.
- Icon Type: This setting allows you to select an icon that appears next to the field label and choice option. There are 9 inbuilt icon choices, and you also get the ability to upload your own icon. If you prefer not to use an icon and instead show the tooltip on field label hover, then it can also be done.
- Icon Size: This setting lets you change the size of the tooltip icon.
- Icon Top Margin: Use this setting to move the icon vertically. It is helpful in cases when the field label and tooltip icon are not vertically aligned by default.
- Icon Left Margin: This setting lets you control the distance between the label and the tooltip icon.
- Tooltip Animation: This is the animation used when showing the tooltip content for the field and the choices.
- Tooltip Position: The tooltip position controls where the tooltip content will be shown concerning the icon. It can be shown to the left, right, top, and bottom. The default value for this setting is right.
- Tooltip Delay: The Tooltip delay option lets you set a delay between the tooltip display and mouse hover/click to display the tooltip.
- Tooltip Trigger: This setting controls when the tooltip is displayed. It can be set to either mouse enter or click.
- Maximum Width: This controls the maximum width of the tooltip’s text container. If your text is longer than the maximum width, then it will break to the next line.
- Tooltip Theme: There are 6 built-in themes, and you can also build your own theme to match the styling of your form/website.
